Carroll Biz Challenge Introduces 15 Contestants At Meet And Greet Thursday

Local entrepreneurs, business leaders and sponsors met at Best Western Thursday.

Fifteen local entrepreneurs who entered business ideas in this years Carroll Biz Challenge got to mingle with supporters and sponsors at a Meet and Greet Thursday evening.

Jason Stambaugh, owner of Hometown Startups and founder of the Carroll Biz Challenge said he was thrilled with this years diverse applicant pool.

"I am delighted to see such a vibrant and robust group of entrepreneurs who are interested in being a part of the small business landscape here in Carroll County," Stambaugh said.

The business ideas range from a trampoline park to muffin bombs to software for emergency rescue service crews. The winning entrepreneur will be chosen at the live event at McDaniel College on Nov. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m.
