2021 LET FREEDOM RING PARADE, SATURDAY JULY 3, 2021, @ 10 AM
The Downtown Sykesville Connection is excited to welcome you on Sykesville Main Street to celebrate America’s birthday “Coolest Small Town and Best Main Street in America style”, on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 10 am.

The Let Freedom Ring Parade will kick off with the official award of the Best Main Street in America title by Independent We Stand!
The parade begins at Sykesville Middle School and proceeds down Springfield Avenue and the length of Historic Main Street, with floats and vehicles accompanying the marching units and organized groups.
An all-female panel of judges was selected this year to honor 2020’s Year of the Woman in Maryland. Parade elements will be judged and the $500 cash prize winner for the best entry will be announced after the parade.
The parade will be over just in time for lunch and ice cream on our beautiful historic Main Street. Bring the whole family!
