Carroll County Public Schools Calendar 2018-19: First Day

WESTMINSTER, MD — The first day of school in Carroll County Public Schools is Sept. 4—and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Carroll County Public Schools have released their 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/4: Students' First Day
• 9/10: No School (Rosh Hashanah)
• 9/19: No School (Yom Kippur)

October

• 10/8: No School (Professional Development Day)
• 10/18: Early Dismissal/No Pre-K
• 10/19: No School (Professional Meeting Day)

November

• 11/6: No School (Election Day)
• 11/13: Early Dismissal/No Pre-K
• 11/21: Early Dismissal/No Pre-K
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/1: No School (Teacher Non-Work Day)
• 2/18: No School (Washington Day Observance)

March

• 3/8: Early Dismissal/No Pre-K

April

• 4/9: Early Dismissal/No Pre-K
• 4/19 - 4/22: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/13: Last Day of School for Pre-K
• 6/14: Last Day of School for All Students/Early Dismissal
