BREAKING: The National Weather Service reported streams were out of their banks, particularly in the Union Bridge area.

CARROLL COUNTY, MD — The sun may be out Thursday morning but flood dangers remain. The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Carroll County until Thursday afternoon.
Small streams were out of their banks at 9:13 a.m. in the Union Bridge area, according to the National Weather Service. While streams are receding and the flood threat decreases, locations that may experience flooding include Westminster, New Windsor, Union Bridge, Linwood, Uniontown, Wagners Mill and Marston.
Weather officials say that runoff from the recent heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, drainage areas and other low-lying spots.
