Free Holiday Concert at Carroll Lutheran Village

Holiday Horns have been playing for decades in Westminster

The annual Holiday Horn Concert, traditionally held the Saturday before Christmas in Westminster, is scheduled for Saturday, December 22 at 10:30 in Krug Chapel at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster. The concert is free and open to the public.

Featuring more than 30 horns, Holiday Horns was established decades ago by French horn instructor and Carroll Lutheran Village resident Phil Hooks. Musicians include Hooks’ former students. The concert was held at TownMall of Westminster until 2017, when it was moved to Carroll Lutheran Village.

Hooks died in August of 2018, but his students will still gather to present this traditional concert coordinated by fellow student Rev. Dr. Sarah Babylon Dorrance.
