S&K Roofing Donates to Carroll County Food Sunday
Eldersburg company matches food weight with dollars
S & K Roofing, Siding and Windows presented Carroll County Food Sunday with a $2,000 donation on January 16 to match the company's 2019 food donation total. The Eldersburg company collected 1,773 pounds of food in 2019 and made a cash donation, rounded up, to match.
Carroll County Food Sunday has locations in Westminster, Eldersburg, and Taneytown. S & K has been supporting Carroll County Food Sunday for ten years.

About Carroll County Food Sunday
Initially started as a faith-based effort to collect food at Sunday services, Carroll County Food Sunday was founded in 1982 to serve the food insecure. Today the organization distributes a weekly, nutritionally balanced grocery package about 400 families per week. Carroll County Food Sunday meets the growing need through food donations and financial support from the community. Daily operations are managed by two part-time employees and numerous volunteers, and governance is provided by a volunteer Board of Directors. Visit www.ccfoodsunday.org for more information.
