Sheriff’s Office Looking for Suspect in New Windsor State Bank Robbery

Police are searching for a female suspect.

Police are searching for a woman that robbed the New Windsor State Bank Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release.

On Sept. 18 at approximately 1:04 p.m., police responded to a robbery at the New Windsor State Bank, 213 Main Street in New Windsor, police said.

According to police, bank employees reported that a white female entered the bank and handed a note to a bank teller demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, police said the suspect exited the bank on foot traveling South on Main Street.

Police said the suspect is described as being approximately 35-years-old, between five feet, eight inches tall and five feet, 10 inches tall, between 230-250 pounds and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.  (See attached photo)
