Weather Alert Issued for Carroll County
The National Weather Service says to expect heavy rain from the remnants Tropical Storm Bill.

Carroll County is under a hazardous weather outlook that includes the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay, according to the National Weather Service.
From the National Weather Service report:
Scattered thunderstorms are possible this (Thursday) afternoon and evening; a few thunderstorms may become severe with locally damaging wind gusts and large hail being the primary threat.

Heavy rain is possible through the weekend as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill pass through the area. Flash flooding is possible during this time, the Weather Service says.

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. West wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Thursday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Light south wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Northeast wind around 8 mph.
Saturday: Isolated showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. East wind around 7 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
