Weather Call From Carroll County Public Schools For Feb. 11

CARROLL COUNTY, MD — Carroll County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11. Officials made the decision Monday morning, after a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain fell overnight.

Employees should follow the code yellow protocol.

Under code yellow, school offices remain open; liberal leave is in effect for 12-month employees; and emergency personnel should report.

Employees who are 10 and 11-month workers should not report.

Carroll County is under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Monday for sleet and freezing rain. Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions.

A winter storm watch takes effect from 4 p.m. Monday to midnight.
