Westminster Man Injured In Motorcycle Crash: Sheriff
The Westminster motorcyclist was taken to the hospital by medevac, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

WESTMINSTER, MD — Officials said a man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Westminster. He was airlifted for treatment, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
Carl David Lehr, 56, of Westminster, was found with his motorcycle on its side in the 400 block of John Owings Road, authorities reported.
First responders were called to the crash scene at 2:31 p.m.

Based on the preliminary investigation, officials said that Lehr had been driving east on John Owings Road when his motorcycle left the road, continued for a short distance then reentered the street, sliding across onto the opposite shoulder.
Officials said Lehr was flown by Maryland State Police helicopter with serious injuries to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Crash reconstructionists responded to the scene and are continuing the investigation.
