Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Carroll County
BREAKING: Below-freezing temperatures and snow-covered roads could combine for dangerous traveling conditions in Carroll County.

CARROLL COUNTY, MD — Snow-covered roads and limited visibility are expected Saturday in Carroll County, which is under a winter weather advisory. Drivers should be prepared for slippery conditions.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory calling for 1 to 2 inches of snow from 2 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 30. The advisory includes Carroll, Baltimore and Harford counties.
Drivers should be extremely cautious, as visibility may be less than a mile at times and roads could be slick.

Those who must travel may want to prepare an emergency kit that includes a blanket. The weather service said that wind chills below freezing could cause frostbite and hypothermia this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to stay below freezing, dipping into the single digits Sunday and Monday night. The high is 28 degrees Saturday, 20 degrees Sunday, 18 degrees Monday and 21 degrees Tuesday, according to the weather service.
