A woman was reportedly injured while walking Friday night in the area of MD 140 in Westminster.
WESTMINSTER, MD — Part of a state road was closed in Westminster Friday night due to a collision. A pedestrian was reportedly injured in the crash.

At 8:15 p.m., state transportation officials said that MD 140 east was closed between Center and Ralph streets due to a collision. After 11:15 pm., the road remained closed to eastbound traffic.

A woman was taken hit by a vehicle before 8 p.m. in the area, according to the Carroll County Times, which reported the pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where her condition was unknown.
