Burtonsville Man Missing Since Monday: Police

If you have seen Samuel Geatchew Liben, please contact the Montgomery County Police Department.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public for help in finding a missing Burtonsville man. Samuel Geatchew Liben, 30, left his Halton Hall Lane home on foot Saturday evening and last contacted a family member via text message at about 3:21 p.m. Monday, the police said in a statement.

Family members have been unable to contact Liben since then, and they're concerned for his welfare, the police said.

Liben is described as an African American man, 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Samuel Geatchew Liben is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers can remain anonymous.
