WHEATON, MD — It's official: Garden of Lights is canceled.

Montgomery Parks made the announcement on Thursday, saying the decision was based on ensuring the health and wellbeing of visitors, volunteer, and staff.

The annual outdoor light display and garden railway exhibit at Brookside Gardens attracts thousands of families a year. 2020 would have marked 33 years since the holiday season tradition began.
