Mother Goose-Themed Corn Maze Open in Montgomery County

Fall is here and the family friendly corn maze at Madison Fields is open weekends. Proceeds benefit autism programs.

The Amazing Maze, an eight-acre corn maze at Madison Fields in Dickerson is open for the Halloween season with a kid-friendly Mother Goose them.

Madison Fields is a 400-acre farm property located at 21355 Big Woods Road in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve.

The corn maze, along with a variety of Mother Goose-themed activities, will be open Fridays through Sundays, through Nov. 1, 2015. Schools and corporate groups may visit on weekdays by appointment. All days are contingent on weather conditions.

In addition to the corn maze, activities include the “Ring Around the Roses” straw bale maze for younger children, and the “Mary Had a Little Lamb” farm animal meet and greet. Local produce, breads, soups, honey and other goods may also be for sale, in conjunction with other local farms. In October, “Peter, Peter Pum’kin Eater” pumpkin carving will be added.

Proceeds from ticket sales to The Amazing Maze and other donations will support the Madison House Autism Foundation and used for developing social, employment and housing options for adults with special needs, as well as the community at large.
