Newest &Pizza Opens Friday at Pike and Rose
The D.C.-based company known for gourmet, handmade pizza will celebrate its grand opening this weekend.

The fourth Maryland location for &pizza will open this Friday, June 12, at 11626 Old Georgetown Road in North Bethesda as part of the Pike & Rose development.
The grand opening weekend will feature roller derby girls, live DJs, and Amp Stamps--Pike & Rose’s visitors opportunity to receive a free pizza just by being in the right place at the right time.
The eatery known for its gourmet handmade pies also has sites in Bethesda, Gaithersburg and Germantown; the company has 13 locations total in the Washington, D.C., area.

The North Bethesda store’s design reflects the development with a large graphic pattern of glyphs meaning explore, connect and transform adorns the walls while huge communal wood tables bring guests together. In total, &pizza North Bethesda is 1,500 square feet with 44 seats plus a patio for al fresco dining.
President and CEO of &pizza Michael Lastoria says in a news release, “Maryland has been incredibly supportive of &pizza and we are excited to be apart of the Pike & Rose community. The project’s motto is to create a place where everything and everyone can come together, an idea that our brand was built on.”

The brand also recently introduced gluten-free dough and signature salads to all of its stores.
The new location’s hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday.
