2 Million People Now Fully Vaccinated In MA

MASSACHUSETTS — Two million people are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in Massachusetts, Gov. Charlie Baker said Saturday.

The governor thanked healthcare workers and reminded residents that people ages 16 and older will be eligible for the vaccine starting Monday.

"Massachusetts has been successful vaccinating people throughout our distribution timeline and as of today, over 2 million people are fully vaccinated," Baker tweeted.

Baker said April 12 he expected to hit the benchmark this week.

"We would encourage everybody who will be eligible to sign up and schedule a vaccine when they are eligible. The vaccine saves lives," Baker said.
