Brush Fires Reported Across MA, RI Amid Dry, Warm Conditions
Brush fires were reported from Cape Cod to the Pioneer Valley.

MASSACHUSETTS — Over a dozen brush fires were reported Saturday amid dry, warm conditionsacross Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
There were fires reported ranging from Sandwich, on Cape Cod, to Woonsocket, Rhode Island, to Wales, in the Pioneer Valley.
The Wales brush fire covered over 30 acres, as of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to scanner reports. Another significant fire was reported in Dunstable, with mutual aid companies responding.

The National Weather Service issued a fire danger advisory for New Hampshire, but not in southern New England. Dry, warm conditions were observed across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with temperatures in the 70s in many areas.
