Duxbury Teen Charged With Murder After Father Pulled From Pond
Jack Callahan reported his father, Scott, missing overnight. Scott was later pulled from Island Creek Pond and Jack is charged with murder.
DUXBURY, MA — A 19-year-old from Duxbury was charged with murder after his father was pulled from a local pond.
Authorities said Jack Callahan was arrested Monday. Multiple outlets reported he has been charged with murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
Scott Callahan, 57, was pulled from Island Creek Pond early Monday morning. Jack Callahan is the one who reported him missing around 2 a.m., police said. Scott Callahan was brought to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities determined the father and son had been on their way home when they were dropped off at Crocker Park by an Uber.
The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death of the man.
