Keep Tabs On Local Officials With Our New 'Town Info' Pages In MA

How are your tax dollars spent at the local level? Where does your kid's school district stand? Come find out on your new "Town Info" page.

Hello, neighbors! Have you noticed the new "Town Info" button in your Patch navigation bar yet, next to the "Real Estate" button?

Here's what's up with that:

We know that holding elected officials accountable at the local level, however vital to democracy, can be a daunting task. Not everyone has the time — or the stamina — to download and claw through hundreds of megabytes worth of jargony PDFs from municipal websites that haven't been updated since the early 2000s, or sit through hours-long council meetings conducted in straight City Hall-speak.
