MA Town-By-Town Vaccination Stats: 14% Fully Vaccinated

Over a quarter of residents are fully vaccinated in nine Massachusetts communities.

MASSACHUSETTS — Over 14 percent of Massachusetts residents have been fully vaccinated, according to a community-level vaccination report released Thursday.

Vaccination levels vary widely by community. In nine communities, over a quarter of residents have been fully vaccinated, while fewer than one in ten residents have been vaccinated in several dozen communities.

You can download the data here by clicking on the Weekly COVID-19 Municipality Vaccination Data. The data also includes vaccination rates by race, ethnicity and sex for each city and town, as well as by zip code. The dataset, released Thursday, as up-to-date as of Tuesday.

There are over 40,000 vaccinations for which the location is not specified.

In addition, for privacy reasons the state does not provide vaccination counts for demographic subgroups for which fewer than 30 doses have been given out in any given town. This means that most communities have undercounts, including those that reported 0 residents fully vaccinated.
