Man Set To Be Arraigned After Armed Robbery At Haverhill Pot Shop

This is Haverhill's first cannabis store robbery since retail stores opened for business in May 2020.

HAVERHILL, MA — Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday afternoon at CNA Stores, a cannabis retailer.

Tony Hernandez, 51, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery for his alleged involvement in the incident at 588 River St in Haverhill.

According to a Facebook post from Haverhill police, Hernandez left the shop with an undisclosed amount of cash and cannabis taken from the store, and that no one was hurt.

Hernandez is to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court Thursday.
