These 8 Spots Offer Snow Day Deals For Winter Doldrums: MA Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — It's mid-January, which means most residents of Massachusetts are likely sick and tired of the cold, dark days of winter.

With frigid temperatures certain and the possibility for more snow this weekend, a handful of Massachusetts restaurants are trying to bring some brightness to the rest of the winter.
The National Weather Service forecast shows cold temperatures Friday that'll warm up on Saturday, but snow is increasingly likely to return on Sunday. Ahead of that potential snow, eight local spots have offered up snow day deals for diners who choose to brave the cold.

4 Rolling Mill Way, Canton
On snow days, Northern Spy offers a free cup of hot chocolate paired with a warm chocolate chip cookie to guests who have been sledding outside the restaurant.

Additionally, Northern Spy serves award-winning beef chili on snow days as a special. The chili features "build your own garnishes" like sour cream, aged cheddar cheese, crushed avocado, fried tortilla strips, scallion and homemade chili crisp, though toppings are subject to change.
The chili is served in a crock and baked to order in the wood oven. Guests can enjoy a half-priced order of chili with any draft beer, making the chili and beer special $7.

Summer Shack
