Two Teens Charged With Murder Of Dracut 20-Year-Old

The Middlesex DA announces that two teenagers have been charged with murdering Adrian Kimborowicz, who was shot to death last September.

LOWELL, MA — Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent Kelly Richardson have announced that Christian Lemay, 19 of Dracut and Braedyn Baraby, 16 of Lowell have been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Adrian Kimborowicz that occurred in September.

Lowell Police responded to a Sutherland Street home after receiving calls of gunshots back on September 26, 2020. Adrian Kimborowicz was still conscious, but suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. According to the press release, Kimborowicz was hospitalized for a month before he died from his injuries on October 28, 2020.

Investigators have been looking for more information since the incident occured, and recently, Kimborowicz's mother had been fighting to remove words of support towards her son's alleged killer out of Dracut High School's 2021 yearbooks.

In the press release, police say new additional information has recently been introduced which helped lead them to these arrests.

Both Lemay and Baraby were arrested in their homes Wednesday night without incident and will be arraigned Thursday in Lowell District Court.

Lemay was previously charged in this matter with armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

This investigation is ongoing.
