We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Oct. 24 in Acton.

1. Challah Baking Workshop: At 7 p.m. on Thursday, the Acton-Concord Chabad Center on Great Road will host a workshop with everything you "knead" to know about Challah. Get the details here.Â

Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Oct. 24 include the Transition Policy Subcommittee of hte Acton-Boxborough Regional School Committee and Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee at 8 a.m., the Acton/Acton-Boxborough School Committees' Policy Subcommittee at 9 a.m. and the South Acton Trian Station Advisory Committee Historical Panel Subcommittee at 11:15 a.m.Â
