ABCC Showing Free Film "Electra" with post viewing discussion led by Herbert Goldner, Professor of Classical Studies at BU. This is an event not to be missed.

The classic Greek tragedy "Electra" will be on the big screen on Friday, May 8 at 7pm at Acton Town Hall, 472 Main St., Room 204

Join us to view this award-winning 1962 film, a masterful retelling of Euripides’ classic tale of palace intrigue and revenge, filmed on location in Greece. Herbert Goldner, Professor of Classical Studies at Boston University, will lead a discussion about Classic literature and ancient Greece. Golder has written extensively on Greek drama and related classics as well as translated and adapted Greek drama for the stage.
