Acton Coronavirus Cases Declined Again Last Week
Acton was in the "yellow" zone in last week's report from the state.
ACTON, MA — Coronavirus cases in Acton fell again last week, according to state data, after the town saw an uptick in cases in early April.
Acton reported 39 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to April 24, compared to 49 cases the week before that. The average daily incidence rate was lower than the previous week's, decreasing from 14.8 to 11.7. The percent positivity decreased to 1.79 percent from 2.45 percent.
Acton's case count still places it in the state's "yellow" zone. The state reported 26 communities were high-risk last week, down from 48 the week before.

Massachusetts reported 19,466 cases in the weeks leading up to April 24, with a daily incidence rate of 20.0 and a percent positivity of 2.01 percent.
