Acton Power Outages: Hundreds Without Power
More than 10 percent of the town was without power.
ACTON, MA — More than 1,100 customers in Acton were without power, according to Eversource. That number has been reduced to under 500. Damaging wind gusts and heavy rain are expected throughout Massachusetts into Wednesday, and several communities across the state are already seeing scattered power outages.
The Acton outages amounted to about 12 percent of the city's customers at its worst. The weather is expected to worsen into the evening.
