Acton Resident Named CFO of Mass.-Based Software Company
Dermot O'Grady comes to Brainshark with 30 years of financial experience.
ACTON, MA – Acton resident Dermot O'Grady has been named chief financial officer of Massachusetts-based software company Brainshark.
Brainshark, located in Waltham, provides sales readiness software to businesses that equips them with training, coaching and content-authoring capabilities. In his role, O'Grady will manage the company's accounting, finance and human resource operations and oversee Brainshark's interactions with investors, outside counsel and financiers.
O'Grady succeeds former CFO Mike McEachern, a founding member of Brainshark's management team and 16-year veteran of the company.

O'Grady has 30 years of financial experience – including 26 years in various CFO roles – working with a myriad of companies. Prior to joining Brainshark, he served as CFO of Xkoto, a database virtualization software company.
