Acton Schools Announce Early Dismissal Ahead of Tuesday Snowfall

Acton's public schools will dismiss students early on Tuesday, Dec. 17 in anticipation of a snowstorm that could drop a fresh 6 inches of white stuff across the area. 

According to a notice on the district's website, RJ Grey Junior High will dismiss students at 10:40 a.m., with Acton-Boxborough Regional High School releasing students shortly after that. Students at Conant, Merriam, and McCarthy-Towne schools will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m., with Gates and Douglas dismissing their students at 1 p.m. Afternoon preschool and Kindergarten classes were cancelled for the day.

As well, RJ Grey parent/teacher conferences scheduled for Dec. 17 have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a future date, the notice says.
