Acton Still Offering Emergency Rental Assistance
Applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which began in the spring, are now being accepted.
ACTON, MA — Acton's rental assistance program for residents impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic is still available.
Applications for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which began in the spring, are now being accepted. Though there is no deadline for applications, residents are encouraged to submit their applications by Oct. 23 to be considered for assistance in November and December.
The program, which is funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, will provide housing stability for residents after the statewide eviction moratorium expires on Oct. 17.

Acton residents who are at or below 100 percent of the area median income, which is $119,000 for a family of four, are eligible to apply.
This program can assist eligible renters impacted financially by COVID-19 through December 31, 2020.
