We asked, you answered and we received some great entries to our Acton Patch Facebook page cover photo contest. 

The voting closed at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and the winner: a graceful egret, taken by Sandy Chapnick .

Note this photo caption from Sandy: "This picture was taken at NARA park several autumns ago with a simple Sony digital camera. I probably took 50 shot of that egret until I got this one. I have been an Acton resident for 18 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else."
