The A.C.T. Presents The Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS

Climb aboard to join Jack and Annie for a rollicking adventure on the high seas with Captain Bones and his crew!

The Acton Cooperative Theater (The A.C.T.) will present Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon Kids on Friday, April 13th at 6:30pm and Saturday, April 14th at 2:00pm. All shows will take place at R. J. Grey Jr. High School’s Dragonfly Theater, located at 16 Charter Road in Acton. Reserved seating tickets are $15 each and General admission tickets are $12 each. The family-friendly musical follows the adventures of Jack and Annie, a brother and sister who draw on their love of reading to travel to amazing places. In Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS, Jack and Annie discover that real treasure has nothing to do with gold, it can be found in the building of relationships
and enjoying the simple pleasures of everyday life. With a book by Jenny Laird and Will Osborne, lyrics by Randy Court and Will Osborne, and music by Randy Courts, Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS is based on Magic Tree House #4: Pirates Past Noon, in the Magic Tree House series written by Mary Pope
Osborne and illustrated by Sal Murdocca. The series introduces young readers to different cultures and times in history and has instilled a love of reading in countless children all over the world. The books are number one New York Times bestsellers – more than 100 million copies have been sold in North
America alone. The series has been translated into many languages and is available in more than 30 countries around the world.

The A.C.T. is a unique, non-profit cooperative theater for grades K-12. Their mission is to foster creativity and self-confidence in children and teens as they develop and improve their skills in various areas of the performing arts. The A.C.T. welcomes students from Acton and surrounding communities who are
interested in exploring the wonderful world of theater. The A.C.T. also offers a theater enrichment program. As part of the program, The A.C.T. organizes outings to local shows presented by the Acton Boxborough Regional Schools and to family-friendly Broadway shows at the Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA. In
addition, The A.C.T. also offers cast families the ability to purchase discounted, premiere tickets to all shows and events in the Hanover Theatre’s 2017/2018 season.
