Collaging for Mom, Cheering for Dana-Farber

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Nov. 26 in Acton.

1. Moms Rock! Collage: Drop by the Discovery Museums at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 so young kids can dig through collage an image and take their artwork home with a special message for mom about staying healthy and strong. Get the details here. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Nov. 26 include the Acton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners at 4 p.m. and the Historic District Commission at 7 p.m.

4. A-B Cheerleaders Fundraising for Dana Farber: As a part of a fundraising initiative that concludes on Thanksgiving Day, the Acton-Boxborough High School varsity cheerleaders are among many squads raising funds to support adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Get the details here.

5. Warmer, But Might Rain: Should be mostly cloudy today with a high of 44 and a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts rain overnight and a low of 38.
