FBI And Acton Police Search For The 'Incognito Robber'

Acton bank robber is allegedly suspect in 16 other bank robberies in Massachusetts.

ACTON -- The FBI offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading them to the so-called "Incognito Bandit," who is suspected of robbing an Acton bank last week, according to The Lowell Sun.

At 6:59 p.m. Thursday, the Northern Bank and Trust at 414 Massachusetts Ave. was robbed by one suspect, according to a police press release.

Acton Police say the robbery and suspect are similar to 16 bank robberies in Massachusetts, including a Feb. 2 robbery at a Billerica branch of Enterprise Bank

No one was injured in the robbery, according to the release.

In most of the robberies, the suspect is dressed in all-black or dark colors, a dark hooded sweatshirt or jacket, a ski mask, sunglasses and dark gloves.
