Firefly's BBQ Offers Full Thanksgiving Dinners To Go

Marlborough restaurant to the rescue with home style Thanksgiving dinner packages ready to order now, pick up the day before, then heat and serve

Firefly’s BBQ in Marlborough (350 East Main Street) unveiled today its secret recipe for the perfect Thanksgiving: a complete Thanksgiving package made fresh, bundled for easy reheating with instructions, and ready for pick up the Wednesday before Thanksgiving – stress free.

Known for its award-winning barbecue and house-made sauces and sides, Firefly’s BBQ makes the holidays a little happier – and well-fed – at your home or office without breaking the budget or stressing over lumpy gravy. All packages are available to pick up at the restaurant and bring home, OR catered on-site at your location.

Chef/owner Steve Uliss prides himself on creating traditional holiday dishes seasoned just right in packages ready to please the pickiest family members or office co-workers from 10 to 10,000. Phone orders are fast and easy: simply choose your package and whether you prefer a whole, organic free range, or breast of Smoked Turkey that is apple cider brined and wood smoked, or an Artisan Ham with a honey maple glaze, also wood smoked and spiral sliced for convenience. All packages include turkey gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, sweet potato pecan pudding, and maple and brown sugar butternut squash. Packages range from the Harvest (feeds up to 8) to the Autumn (feeds 12 people) and the Pilgrim (feeds 16 people).

Choose from a dozen side dishes, including homemade cornbread, and sweet desserts: apple crisp, red velvet cake, s’mores cake, or homemade pies (apple, harvest pumpkin, blueberry or Southern pecan).

Looking ahead to Friday sandwiches? Firefly’s BBQ already has you covered with pulled pork or pulled chicken sandwich fixins’ by the pint with three rolls, or a half-pan with 15 rolls for a bigger crowd.

Just in time for the holidays, Firefly’s BBQ is ready to make holiday reservations for:

1. NEW: Business Lunch Catering Service – ready to go in packages and delivered hot and fresh to your office.

2. Firefly’s S.W.A.T. (Smokin’ Wicked And Tasty) Team has 12 trucks ready to bring the buffet to your front door. S.W.A.T. will cater (or semi-serve) your event at the office location of your choice, whether you are hosting 10 to 10,000 guests. The S.W.A.T. team comes to you with servers, or can simply deliver the hot fare to your door, ready for you to serve yourself complete with utensils, extra sauce, and plenty of napkins.

3. Firefly’s BBQ in Marlborough is big enough to host just about any size party, from 20 to 200 in one of our two indoor spaces with pool tables and big screen TVs. In nice weather, Firefly’s BBQ also offers an outdoor space, The Backyard, for private parties.

Firefly’s specialties include true barbecue low-fire, slow-cooked flavors and authentic Southern dishes ready to be served to your group. Firefly’s offers three different styles of ribs and five different BBQ sauces in addition to an array of Corporate Buffet Menus available on the website. Firefly’s also offers a full bar on-site as well as off-site bar catering services for your event beverage needs. Event hosts may customize their bar catering by choosing cash bar, open bar or complimentary drinks via a ticket system, or by consumption bar options (or a combination of these).
