'Giving Tuesday,' Meetings and More on Dec. 3 in Acton

1. It's Giving Tuesday: You've heard of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and even Cyber Monday. But now there's Giving Tuesday, which is meant to highlight charitable holiday giving amid the commercialized post-Thanksgiving shopping crush. Get the details on how holiday ornaments or an Alex and Ani bangle can support the Jimmy Fund. 

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Dec. 3 include the Planning Board at 7:30 p.m. and the Recreation Commission at 6:45 p.m.
