When Ken was not busy working or volunteering his time, he enjoyed golfing, basketball, spending time with his grandchildren and telling his many life stories and jokes.
Ken was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Cancer in 2008 and had beaten the odds for over 8 years. Ken was a fighter and never let his medical problems affect his life or the lives around him.
