Monday Essentials: A Holiday Story Slam, AB PIP STEM's Monthly Meeting and More

1. Holiday Theme Story Slam: At 7 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 14, the South Acton Congregational Church will host a Story Slam as its monthly Second Saturdays event. Drop by to listen or try telling a story ... a small prize will be awarded to the audiences favorite story. Get the details here.

3. Typhoon Haiyan Relief Benefit Recital: At 7 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 11, Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord will host a piano recital featuring local resident Tanya Bartevyan to benefit Typhoon Haiyan relief. The event is sponsored by Trinitarian Congregational Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Newbury Court. Get the details here. 

4. AB PIP STEM Monthly Meeting: Find out how you can get involved with events such as DiscoverSTEM, Nature Walks, Family Game Night, 3rd and 5th Grade Market Math and 4th Grade Star Party by dropping by the Acton-Boxborough (AB) Parent Involvement Project (PIP) Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) monthly meeting at 9 a.m. this Friday, Dec. 13 at the Acton Memorial Library.
