1. Veterans Day Ceremonies: Acton will commemorate Veterans Day with its annual ceremonies at 11 a.m. this Monday, Nov. 11,  at the Town Common. Get the details here.Â
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:Â
- Monday, Nov. 11: There are no public meetings posted for today
- Tuesday, Nov. 12: the Cable Advisory Committee at 7:30 p.m., the Finance Committee at 7:30 p.m., the Historic District Commission at 7 p.m., the Morrison Farm Committee at 7:30 a.m., and the Recreation Commission at 6:45 p.m.Â
- Wednesday, Nov: 13: the Historical Commission at 8 p.m. and the Sidewalk Committee at 7 p.m.Â
- Thursday, Nov. 14: the Acton/Acton-Boxborough School Committees' Policy Subcommittee at 9 a.m.Â
- Friday, Nov. 15: the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, Acton-Boxborough Transitional School Committee at 9 a.m.Â
4. Concerned About the Cost of Senior Living and Veterans Benefits? There's a forum on exactly that at 6 p.m. this Wednesday evening at the Inn at Robbins Brook. Get the details here.Â
5. Science Family Night: At 6:30 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 15, at the ABRHS Cafeteria, the Science and Envirothon Teams at ABRHS will be doing fun, hands-on activities with elementary-aged students from Acton and Boxborough using candy, fruit and popsicle sticks. Get the details here.Â
