Monday Essentials: RJ Grey Grabs a Grant, Nanny Poppins in Acton a Local Artist on Display

1. RJ Grey Grabs a Grant: VERC Enterprises, a convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with locations throughout Eastern Mass and New Hampshire, recently awarded R.J. Grey Junior High School a $500 grant through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program. Get the details here. 

2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:

Free Night for Families of Deaf or Hard of Hearing Children: Beginning at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 11, the Discovery Museums in Acton will host a special evening for families with deaf or hard of hearing children, in conjunction with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program of Children's Hospital Boston. New Nanny and Domestic Staffing Agency in Acton: Nanny Poppins -- an agency placing nannies, house keepers/managers, personal assistants, babysitters, etc -- has moved into Acton. Get the details here.
