Pauline M. (Dennen) Goller, 73, of Acton

ACTON, MA—Pauline M. (Dennen) Goller, 73, of Acton, formerly of Arlington and Maynard, died peacefully Sunday, May 22nd, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She and her husband, Warren W. Goller, were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 26th

Born in Boston and raised in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (Carrigan) Dennen, and was the sister of the late Lawrence, Robert and Charles Dennen. Mrs. Goller graduated from the Arlington schools and continued her education in nursing. For many years she was employed as a nursing assistant at the Emerson Hospital, and later the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford where she worked with Alzheimer’s patients. She loved time spent with her children and grandchildren, and in early years coached girls’ softball. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, painting and ceramics.

Mrs. Goller was the mother of the late Maureen Goller. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Catherine Tewksbury and husband Charles, Gary Goller, Cheryl Goller-Salem and husband Michael, Carol Goller and Sharon Goller; six grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Lisa, William, Peyton and Cameron; and her sister-in-law with whom she was very close, Mary Dennen and her children, Larry, Debbie, Colleen and Nancy; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, May 27 a.m. from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave (Rte 111) Acton. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington St., Acton, with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Rd., Acton Ctr.
