Police Log: A Mangy Raccoon, an Alleged Restraining Order Violation and More

Friday, Nov. 22

5:06 a.m. – Police responded to a panic alarm activation on Great Road. It was confirmed as accidental by an employee.

7:34 a.m. – A motor vehicle accident was reported on Taylor Road.

10:36 a.m. – A Willow Street resident reported receiving a text message in violation of a restraining order.

10:59 a.m. – Police responded to a reported animal problem in which there was a “mangy, sick looking raccoon” in a parking lot on Great Road.

12:30 p.m. -- Police responded to Audubon Drive for a reported restraining order violation. Dale W. Wilson, 58, of 93 Willow St., Acton, was arrested and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. 

1:37 p.m. – An anonymous person came into the station to drop off keys found at NARA Park.

3:29 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possible illegal solicitor on Juniper Ridge Road. The responding officer checked the area, but the person in question was gone on arrival.

4:42 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Main Street.

4:49 p.m. – A deer was reportedly struck by a motor vehicle on Great Road. The responding officer reported the animal took off into the woods.

7:47 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Mass Ave.

9:08 p.m. – Police responded to Parker Street in Stow to provide mutual aid.
