Police Log: Accidents, Christmas Decorations Prompt Police Responses

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Dec. 12

5:35 a.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue.

5:39 a.m. – Emergency responders were called to Route 2 for a reported rollover with a driver ejected from the vehicle. The woman was transported to Emerson Hospital.

9:41 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at a Great Road business. It was confirmed as accidental by an employee.

10:08 a.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Wetherebee Street. It was confirmed as accidental by the homeowner.

3:43 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Great Road. Both vehicles were towed.

4:06 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Great Road in which three people needed to be transported to the hospital.

5:34 p.m. – A Maple Street resident came into the station to speak with an officer regarding scams.

6:01 p.m. – Police responded to School Street for a report of a man looking through windows on the second floor. The responding officer reported the man in question was an employee hanging Christmas decorations.

11 p.m. – Police responded to Davis Road for a report of motor vehicles operating erratically in a parking lot there.
