Police Log: Alarms, Larceny, Scams and 'Monopolized' Parking
The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 11
11:23 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Nash Road; it was confirmed as accidental.
12:59 p.m. – Police responded to Mass Ave for a complaint about handicapped parking “being monopolized” by cars without designated plates or placards. Two vehicles were cited.

2:10 p.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident in a parking lot on Great Road.
3:30 p.m. – A Robbins Street resident called to report her neighbor throwing branches onto her property.

3:45 p.m. – Police responded to a foyer motion alarm activation on Black Horse Drive. The responding officer secured the rear door.
5:06 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
5:36 p.m. – Police responded to Rose Court, where two leaf piles were reportedly causing a traffic hazard. A landscaping company was notified to take care of the leaves.
8:40 p.m. – A report of threatening and harassing came in from Mass Ave.
10:52 p.m. – An erratic motor vehicle was reported on Great Road. The responding officer stopped the vehicle nearby and determined the driver was not impaired.
Tuesday, Nov. 12
1:29 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on High Street. There were no issues found.
10:26 a.m. – A Lexington Drive resident spoke with police about a possible scam.
10:41 a.m. – Officers responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Hosmer Street.
11:19 a.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Wood Lane. The call was confirmed as accidental.
1:27 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a past larceny at Nagog Square.
3:05 p.m. – An employee from a Mass Ave business reported a person who seemed disoriented came into the office and then left on foot heading into Acton. Officers checked the area, but the person was gone on arrival – having already been transported to Emerson Hospital by Boxborough.
6:55 p.m. – A deer was struck by a motor vehicle on Main Street.
