Police Log: Alleged Larceny, a Reported Scam and Suspicious Activity
The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 9
4:18 a.m. – The Department of Public Works reported one motor vehicle on Walnut Street and two on Hazelnut were in violation of the town’s seasonal overnight parking ban.
7:39 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries on Route 2.

8:54 a.m. – Police responded to High Street for a report of a motor vehicle off of the roadway. The responding officer transported the vehicle’s owner to Prospect Street.
10:23 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Hosmer Street. A tow company was called and the Highway Department notified of an arrow sign down.

1:05 p.m. – Police responded to a residential burglar alarm on School Street. The premises checked secure.
1:48 p.m. – Police responded to a reported argument on Keefe Road.
6 p.m. – Police responded to a report of larceny on Olde Lantern road.
Tuesday, Dec. 10
1:50 p.m. – Police responded to a reported drug violation on Charter Road.
2:13 p.m. – A license plate was found on the side of Main Street.
3:30 p.m. – A scam report came in from Davis Road.
4:53 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle on High Street.
5:18 p.m. – A report of an injured deer came in from Main Street. Police were unable to locate the animal.
5:54 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity involving white van parked in the rear of a business on Great Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was no longer there.
6:23 p.m. – AAA reported a motor vehicle accident on Captain Forbush Lane.Â
