Police Log: Reports of Harassment, Accidents and Slippery Roads

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 13

5:52 a.m. – Police responded to the area of the ramp at routes 111 and 2 for a report of a liquid leaking and causing the roadway to become slippery. State Public Works were notified.

12:12 p.m. – An alarm activation on Stacy’s Way was confirmed as accidental by the homeowner.

2:58 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

4:01 p.m. – Police responded to a burglar alarm on Torrington Lane, which was set off by a solicitor.

4:09 p.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Discovery Way. It was confirmed as accidental by an employee.

4:25 p.m. – Police responded to a report of four teens near construction equipment on Main Street. The teens were gone on arrival.  

6:10 p.m. – Police responded to a harassment complaint on Mass Ave.

7:26 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Central Street.

10:39 p.m. – A caller reported losing her wallet, possibly in the commuter lot in South Acton.

11:26 p.m. – A report of a high-pitched sound, possibly a transformer, was reportedly keeping residents awake on Newtown Road. The noise was coming from a construction vehicle on Route 2, according to the log entry.
