Prayers Beyond Boundaries Interfaith Concert
An Inclusive Interfaith Musical Experience Based on Shared Wisdom from our Faith Traditions

All are invited to a special interfaith concert, Prayers Beyond Boundaries: An Uplifting and Inclusive Musical Experience, at Congregation Beth Elohim in Acton on Sunday, February 9th at 4 pm. The event is co-sponsored by St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, also in Acton.
During this participatory and celebratory concert, attendees will be invited to listen and sing along to prayer-songs from the Abrahamic faith traditions including contemporary interpretations of the Golden Rule, wisdom teachings of Rabbi Hillel, The Lord’s Prayer, and other faith-based songs. The songs include lyrics sung in English, Hebrew, and Aramaic.
This inspiring musical journey will be accompanied by a jazz instrumental ensemble and 30+ person interfaith chorus. The music features lead vocalists Belle Halpern, an accomplished lay cantor who performs internationally, and Walter Cooper, a lifelong singer of spiritual music and co-founder of the Gospel Love Tones. The ensemble is conducted by Cathy Meyer, Minister of Music at South Church UCC in Andover.
