Proscenium Circus to Present ‘Online Encores’ Nov. 7-8, Dec. 5-6

From the comfort of your own home, relive memorable Disney performances by Proscenium Circus, the student theatre troupe at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. In November and December, Proscenium Circus is offering Online Encores, streaming two audience favorites: Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and “Mary Poppins.”

Come and be our guest for Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” streaming Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. It’s the classic French fairy tale of the book-loving, independent-thinking Belle, who leaves her provincial village in search of her wayward father, and encounters the Beast, a prince entrapped by an enchantress’ spell and living in a household of magical characters.

Then continue the fun with Disney’s “Mary Poppins,” streaming Saturday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to 1910 England and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again.
