Rollover Truck Closes I-495 Ramp In Boxboro Saturday

BOXBORO, MA — Some drivers headed toward I-495 south in the Boxboro area were hit with a detour on Saturday morning after a rollover truck forced the closure of an exit ramp on the highway.

Boxboro police reported about 8:30 a.m. that the ramp from Route 111 to I-495 was closed after the truck rolled over near the breakdown lane and spilled cargo onto the highway.

No timetable was given for the reopening of the ramp. The highway is often congested with traffic on summer weekends as it connects the New Hampshire seacoast to Cape Cod.
